  1. It took me about an hour to write all that… :(

  2. Now you’ve torn it! How the bloody hell you gonna get up to bed now?

  3. nice collection….

i’ve got quite a lots of books but

    i don’t have any of them…

though i almost bought the terryworld once…

    …………..

  4. Interesting collection . . . I’ve only got one of these . . . but I didn’t pay for it :-)

Seen on your photo stream. ( ?² )

  5. I only ever look at the pictures….

  6. You decided against buying "Dogs in Vogue" then, despite my recommendation?

  7. louisahennessyvikinghorns Yes, I’m still keeping my eyes out for "Cats in Bomber Jackets" though.
lenartney I had to come upstairs to upload the photo. Unfortunately I tripped on the way and some of my pristine hardbacks got their covers ripped when I knocked them down to the bottom. :(

  8. nice.

I’ve had to pre warn people that should I meet an untimely end, dont just ship all my books off to the charity shop… I’ve spent a fortune over the past 15 years on books. Just had a birthday so will be using some cash to buy more me thinks too.

Keep up the good collection. Invaluable stuff.

  9. Oh no!….No damaged collectors items or rare editions i hope?…Did you get a shot of the aftermath?

  10. Impressive collection….shame about the avalanche : (

  11. Impressive collection indeed. Some I’ve read or perused through some of the ones you have in the past.

I’ve enjoyed reading your thoughts on each. Even the porn.

  12. Great comment. It’s been good to watch the way you’ve immersed yourself if photgraphy since I first saw you round these parts…

  13. i have fetish girls, photo icons and hot shots also, looking for a copy of terryworld that isnt like 100pounds!

  14. `Lðuie Banks I got my "Terryworld" for 25 quid as part of the "Taschen 25" anniversary. Some branches of Waterstones still have that edition and it’s well worth the price. I wouldn’t pay more than that though.

  15. its awesome youve got the julian calder book there. he lives just round the corner from me, hes a great guy, actually he let me help him with a shoot for the army of some important soldier with horses and shit…. standand volumes otherwise i rate it i wam working on my library at the moment but everything i look for is now "collectors item" and costs loads…
anyone gonna hit me up with some lars tunbjork love?

  16. Nice. I’ve only Kevin Meredith’s Hotshots, Publication, the Genius of Photography and the Kelby book in that list. I need to check out the rest.

The David Solomons book reminds me if that’s the book he was showing at that book fair in Smithfield market last summer. Or was that happenstance. I went down that Saturday to check it out, and spotted Ben Roberts being very nice and humble (really, he was) and then when I walked around to the Tales of a Flaneur stand I spotted you. I like to lurk so I just walked on.

The only book in my mind to buy right now is Winogrand’s 1964.

  17. martinhanna David was showing "Happenstance" and "Underground" at the Photofair in the same booth as Tijo had "Mott Street" and something else. I saw Ben but he wasn’t talking to me back then, so I didn’t say hello. You should have said Hi to me, although I don’t think I knew you back then. I don’t bite. :)
I didn’t shoot many pictures that day, but I uploaded a couple.

  18. Of course, it was the photofair. I was actually on the way out when I spotted you. I had done a couple loops of the stalls, chatted to Ben Roberts for a bit and then on the way out, I spotted you. I think you had just arrived and was introducing yourself to the guys at that stand.

So strictly speaking I was just leaving you to the guys. Your pics are from that stand.

  19. Hi, I’m an admin for a group called hot shots in the wild, and we’d love to have this added to the group!
