First Annual Annunaki Song Writing Contest The purpose of the song contest this year is simply to create a national anthem. In years to come, it will be to create original culture that embodies aspects core to the Empire. The guidelines are simple. Create a song, with, or without lyrics (with lyrics if you can sing well) about 3 minutes long and have it embody the principles of the Empire. You can use any instrument, any song writing program, and as long as the song is original it will be judged by a jury based solely on it’s merit. The winner of the contest will receive a 50$ Visa gift card! Bonus points will be given to entries that can manage to make a catchy tune using sounds found from the ancient world especially ancient Sumer, Egypt, and Meso-America. The last date for entries will be December 15th and the winner will be announced on December 20th, right in time for some extra spending on Christmas gifts!
