A fun invitation to my Experimental Fiction Writing Class through UCLA Extension Writing Program online. www.freewebs.com/TantraBensko It start April 14th, but sign up now. You can do it from anywhere, and there are no classes at specific times you have to attend. You just read the lectures, watch videos, listen to audio, read each other’s work and give feedback, post creative images, write interesting bios, read Calvino stories, and write three short stories. The stories can even be fragments if you run out of time. You go beyond the usual ways of treating all the elements of a story, expand your mind beyond its routines, and learn how to write the way You want to write a story, rather than by traditional formulas. Bookends – Vancouver Film School – Writing Program
My short-film, produced through Vancouver Film School’s Writing Program. These films are limited to 5 pages of script shot within a three hour time frame. Originally intended to take place within a used bookstore that featured books inexplicably falling from shelves – I had to adapt the script to the next best setting – a church, and therefore things became a bit more melodramatic. I wish I could go back and fix a few things (and edit it down), but it was a good learning process.
